Immigrate to Canada

Express Entry- Express Entry program is a selection-based system implemented by the Canadian government to manage permanent resident applications from skilled workers. The key economic immigration programs that can be accessed through the express entry are:

– Federal skilled worker program
– Federal skilled trades program
– Canadian experience class
– A portion of provincial nominee program

Potential candidates express their interest in immigrating to Canada by first completing an online profile. The profile is electronically screened to determine if the candidate meets the criteria of at least 1 of the 3 federal immigration programs mentioned above. Using the same information, candidates are given a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. They are then placed in the Express Entry pool and ranked relative to each other based on their CRS scores. Only top-ranked applicants are invited to apply for permanent residence.

Provincial Nomination Programs- You can Immigrate by being nominated by a Canadian province. This program is for workers who have the skill set, education and work experience to contribute to the economy of a particular province or territory, want to live in that province, and want to become permanent residents of Canada. Each province and territory has its own “pathway” (immigration programs that target particular groups) and requirements.

Start-up Visa Program: If you’re an entrepreneur with an innovative business idea and the potential to create jobs in Canada, the Start-up Visa Program might be your ticket to permanent residency. This program encourages the growth of innovative businesses in the country.

Caregiver Program: Immigrate to Canada through this pathway by caring for children, seniors or people with medical needs. An employer in Canada is needed for this pathway.

Self-Employed: If you possess exceptional artistic, cultural, or athletic talents, you can apply for permanent residency as a self-employed individual. Canada values the contributions of individuals who excel in these fields.
